Exposing the truth about the 281 exposed blog

Re District Defense of STEAM

Here we go again.   281x is upset that Tia Clasen put them in their place.  She did what 281x hates, open debate.  281x prefers to hide behind an anonymous blog.

At no point did the district hide that open enrollment was part of the plan with a new STEM school.  In fact, if Todd ( nice job in your race for GOP chair at 3% btw) Ron, Andrew and Candace were actually in touch with the facts, the 281x folks would have been at the community meeting on the subject and voiced the concerns in a forum in which interaction would have happened oppose to the cowardly way 281x prefers, without debate.

I am also not sure where 281x gets the info that revenue won’t happen until year 14.  I am assuming 281x is once again making up facts.

As far as 281 not allowing charter schools in, 281 have never done anything to stop one, 281 has simply refused to assist charter schools by selling property to them.  Are you aware if a charter school in the 281 area, 281 must provide transportation if the students also live in 281??   Charter schools do not have the same unfunded mandates at ISD’s have.  So when they playing field is equal, the topic should be discussed not now.  However, if the playing field was equal, charter schools would cease to exist.

re It Only Takes 9

Here is an idea, those who oppose properly funding public education should sue the state for the ability to lie as a first amendment right at which point refuse to debate the issues in public, and simply hide behind the untruths.

Just a thought

Ron is steamed about the new school.

There is little I could say about Ron’s letter to the editor that Tia Clasen did not say in her letter

http://goldenvalley.patch.com/articles/letter-to-the-editor-district-defends-steam

What is clear is Ron is campaigning for a 2012 school board seat.  It is vital to public education that he or any of his anti public education lap dogs ( Candace and Tim) do not make it on the board.

People need to remember who Ron is, and what he did to this community.

He brought in Anti Public Ed activist Paul Dorr in 2007. One of Paul’s ( and apparently now Ron) tactics is to tie up administration with large requests for information.   This waste of time took resources and time away from the classroom.  Way to “support the kids”, Ron

While launching this attack on public education, Ron refused to debate stating that he had to work.  It is too bad he does not have to work instead of showing up at school board meetings with his video camera.

Ron went on to sue the state with the idea that not being able to distort the truth during a referendum campaign is a violation of his First Amendment right.

Todd McIntyre, how did your meeting go???

I am guessing about as well as your school board election will go. Do you really think this community would put you on the board??

Let me give you and Ron some advice, if no one but Candace, Ron and Todd showed up for the big occupy education meeting, what makes you think that you 3 could win a seat on the board???

Stop being part of the problem and wasting everyone’s time with request for information from 281.

How many have you made Ron and Todd? If you want to look at waste, how much time is being spent by 281 staff with your requests? This is the same tactic you learned from Dorr in 97. I cannot wait for the debate for school board to happen. I am guessing all 3 of you will need to work that night to avoid the facts which is once again right out of the Paul Dorr play book!!

At least admit that all you care about is your pocketbook, and not the kids.

I love these pro-life folks who fall in love with the fetus, and want to deny health care and education once birth happens.

Calling out Ron Stoffe

Come on Ron, what is the deal with you showing up at board meetings trying to intimidate  members with a video camara?   You are brave behind a camara, but none of us forget how you divided a community with half-truths, tried to take legal action to lie, and then refused to debate the facts, all out of the Paul Dorr handbook.

You want to play dirty, go for it but we have a few tricks too.  Can a person manage a school budget when they can’t manage their own???

Let’s plan a debate.  You, your buddies at 281x and I.  Oh wait, you have to work that day?

2012 281 elections

The slate is set and the 3 are up and running. 281x contributors Todd McIntyre, Candace Oathort, , and Ron Stoffe will be running on a slate for the ISD 281 Robbinsdale Area School Board, while our good friend Andrew Richter runs for mayor of Crystal. We need to work hard to make sure none of these 3 make it on the board. Candace has stepped up involvement on 281 committees while Todd and Ron ran the 2007 “vote no” campaign so do not underestimate their ability to organize. Ron may have to actually debate this time. I bet he can’t use the, “ I had to work to pay my tax” excuse such as he did in 07.

Oh, as far as Andrew Richter, Bowman will rip him one but good. I am not too worried there.

Something needs to Occupy Todd J. McIntyre brain.

Todd J. McIntyre is positioning himself for a school board election.  Unfortunately he lacks too much to serve.

He wonders why the 281 staff and board does not pull out of No Child Left Behind.  First of all, it is not an optional suggestion that schools can voluntary opt out of.  NCLB is a federal law enacted under a president that I am assuming he strongly supported and continues to support.

He cites low testing performance under the NCLB umbrella which as many people have continued to say, does not accurately portray academic progress and achievement.

If Todd wants to be an asset to education, he should assist the churches and non-profits in the tutoring labs that continue to pop up.  In addition, instead of judging progress of a law set down by a lame president, with no concept of public education, look at ISD 281’ s graduation rate as well as 281′s on-going history of sending kid onto higher education.

Keep you day job Todd, and leave the board to the professionals.

Todd and Candace have now positioned themselves for a school board race.  Who will be the 3rd on the dance card, Ron is the logical choice.

re Only Two Schools Pass Again

Once again, a one sided post meant to make 281 look bad.

Most 281 schools made huge progress, just not up to the flawed standards of the failed NCLB garbage rules which most states, including Minnesota are looking to abolish.

Who will run??? Maybe you, just not 281x

In about a year 3 school board seats will be up for re-election.  In the event one or more do not seek re-election would you consider running???

The issue is we want to keep folks such as Candace Oathort, Andrew Richter, have Ron Stoffe, and Todd Macintyre out.  ( The word is Richter is going after the Mayor seat)

It is important to keep those who want to destroy public education such as the above listed off the board.

Just remember to support the RFT ( Teachers) endorsed candidates.

re Now Eat Your Fruits and Veggies!

281x said

“How about we take all this time and energy were spending on making kids eat certain foods and put it into academics?”

You have got to be kidding me??????

This is truly the GOP way of Todd, Ron, and Andrew to overlook proper nutrition to save a few bucks.

The crazy thing is the folks at 281x believe the wellbeing of kids is a priority for 281x, the GOP and their fascist  friends.  Give me a break.

Candace, are you proud of this????
